Material Sourcing
From solid wood and natural textiles to threads and healthy finishes, our sourcing practice is deeply conscious. We select and pair responsibly harvested wood with high-grade materials that contribute to wellness and age with grace over time.
Fine woodworking
Woodworking at Esvee is a demanding, unhurried practice. We allow wood the time it needs to settle, shaping each joint and curve with steady hands, deep respect for material, and quiet bench discipline.
Finishing
Surface finishing demands total precision, as natural oils and stains expose every raw line. We give this phase unhurried time, hand-applying non-toxic finishes that nourish the wood, enhance texture, and develop a rich patina.
Vernacular craft
Honoring regional heritage, we embed vernacular arts into solid wood design. Through hand-woven cane, Shou-Sugi-Ban wood charring, brass inlay, and stone craft, we elevate ancestral handwork to create modern, unhurried living spaces.
Upholstery
We approach upholstery with the same structural discipline as wood. Using breathable natural fabrics and internal layering, our artisans tailor every seam by hand, balancing ergonomic support, soft comfort, and clean visual lines.
